Michels Project

This past week, we were at Michels Corporation in Brownsville, performing a MR (metal restoration) on one of their low-slope metal roofs.

Upon arrival and after securing our safety equipment, we began washing the roof and preparing for primer application, as well as caulking the fasteners. Despite the far side being fairly steep, with the proper safety gear, we cleaned and primed it without any issues.

Our team then proceeded to lay base coats and install fabric in all of the seams. This helps prevent water from seeping in and creates the seamless roof that makes MRs so popular and effective.

With excellent teamwork, we swiftly completed the base coat and fabric installation, and applied the top coat of UV-reflective puma. This provides the awesome white finish that truly makes your roof stand out.

Moreover, it reflects up to 85% of UV rays, keeping them off your roof and preserving it for years to come. It’s no wonder that even the largest companies love MR and full fabric restorations! Cost-effective and time-effective, you simply can’t beat it!
